Theory of multiple intelligences
Children are often quick to learn and develop in one specific intelligence. Some children may have a keen sense of movement and plays sports well but would not like to sit and read while others may love to write and draw while disliking making mathematical calculations. Being able to recognize a child’s strength and supporting their growth in that direction can lead to them to reach their potential in said intelligence. A part of Taitonmai’s design is based on the Multiple Intelligences Theory by Dr. Howard Gardner.

Bodily Kinesthetic Intelligence
Children that display a strong intelligence in body-kinesthetic are skilled in using their body for movement. They have good awareness and control. Their hand-eye coordination in addition to fine and motor skills are more developed than peers their age.
Spatial Intelligence
Children who display strong spatial intelligence are good at remembering images and have an excellent sense of space and distance. Their awareness of the surroundings and ability to visualize images in their minds makes them good at reading maps and telling directions. Children with this intelligence often enjoy visual arts such as drawing and painting.
Naturalist Intelligence
Children who display strong naturalist intelligence enjoy being in nature and are especially observant. They understand and appreciate the natural environment around them, whether it is the rocks underground or the stars in the sky. They love learning and playing in the outdoors.
Intrapersonal Intelligence
Children who display strong intrapersonal intelligence deeply understand and are aware of their emotions, motivations and beliefs. They have high self-awareness, learn through reflection and are usually more introverted.

Interpersonal Intelligence
Children who display strong interpersonal intelligence are able to work well in a team and are very empathetic towards others. They are naturally friendly, open and are skilled in managing teams, often demonstrating leadership qualities.
Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence
Children who display linguistic intelligence are quick to learn vocabulary and can articulate their thoughts into coherent sentences. They often like to play with words and how they sound, often forming idiomatic expressions. They can develop an understanding for expressions, idioms, and literary translations, and can excel in learning through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Logical Intelligence
We were able to observe strong logical intelligence in this camp. This type of intelligence is the foundation for a strong understanding in mathematics and sciences. Processing thoughts and information through logic and reason, children that demonstrate this type of intelligence love to investigate and experiment.
Musical Intelligence
Children who exhibit strong musical intelligence have a strong understanding of pitch, rhythm, timbre and dynamics. They are keen in creating sounds and rhythms. With sensitivity to auditory stimuli in the environment they often learn through listening.
