Calling all young scientists and explorers! Let’s experiment with prehistoric science by travelling back in time to recreate volcanic eruptions and dig down deep to find the lost fossils. This camp focuses on creating opportunities for experimentation in nature in the context of dinosaurs in Jurassic Science camp!

Jurassic Science, a camp full of experiments where students will have a hands-on experience experimenting with temperature, change of states, and reactions in the prehistoric dinosaur world.

Decode an ancient map that details where the dinosaur fossils are buried. Excavate the bones and see what else you will discover!

SCIENCE IN ACTION

Giant Volcanic Eruptions

We’ll build up a giant volcano out of clay in nature, concoct our own formula and test different types of eruptions. What proportions with what materials cause the biggest explosions? Would it ooze or would it fizz? What happens when you add dry ice?

After their adventure, campers will receive one of these badges that most reflect their strengths specific to activities on camp day.

In a time where Dinosaurs roamed the ancient Earth, they ventured the caverns and valleys, in search of new homes for their little baby dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs in the Ice Age

After the meteor struck, the dinosaurs went into hiding in an ice cave, but it was so cold that they froze and because big spheres of ice.

A friend in need

Thousands of years later, a group of strange looking cave bunnies on their hunt for food came across this huge frozen dinosaur. How should they help their lizard friends stuck in this big sphere of ice?
